Who can be a companion?
Our company appreciates experience in home care and the medical field, but it is not required to be a live-in companion. We can provide training to the right people. Aegin Place does require the following without exception:

• Companion candidates must be a citizen of the United States
• They must have a current driver’s license
• We prefer formal training in first aid/CPR and procedures for working with older adults. We can assist you in obtaining this training if necessary.
• Every candidate is evaluated for their capacity to deliver the needed assistance
• Live-In companions undergo extensive background screening before they are considered for placement as a live-in home companion.
